Dover Castle Expedition: Year 8’s Epic Journey Through History!

This month Year 8 students at MGGS visited Dover Castle to enhance their study of Dover Castle through time (which they explored in Year 7). As part of the day they took part in the Operation Dynamo Experience, walked the battlements, saw the Roman Lighthouse and explored the Great Tower. 

They learnt several weird and wonderful facts including why medieval beds were short and how people of different classes went to the toilet in the medieval times.
