Maths Magic Celebrating Excellence & Teamwork during Maths Week England @MGGS!

Students in KS3 and KS4 have enjoyed a range of activities this week to celebrate Maths Week England.

In form time, KS3 have been competing against each other to solve some jigsaw puzzles and KS4 have been solving the MGGS murder mystery! Students used their problem solving and teamwork skills well to solve the problems demonstrating resilience and excellence!

We also held our first whole school Maths Treasure Hunt. Students were tasked to solve some mathematical problems in order to find our prefects who were hiding around the school. This was taken up well by students in KS3, and all our students were rewarded for their efforts. A special mention to Aimee F, Grace D and Rita L in KS3, and Peace O, Omolola A-J and Katie G in KS4, who will receive a surprise gift following the prize draw!
