All the World’s a Stage!

As lots of you already know, this year’s school production is called Shakespeare’s Shorts and it’s made up of three abridged versions of some of Shakespeare’s most loved plays; Twelfth Night (a comic tale of mistaken identity and love triangles), Macbeth (full of murder, deceit and betrayal) and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (fairies, humans and practical jokes a plenty). Each play will last approximately 30 minutes, has a different cast and particular style of performance/staging, audience members will certainly be in for an entertaining evening full of comedy and tragedy!

Over fifty students from Year 7 to 12 are involved in the show, on stage and off.  Performances will take place on Wednesday February 7th  and Thursday February 8th in the Main Hall, starting at 6:30pm. All students involved have been working extremely hard in rehearsal and we wanted to share some of this with you before the show!

Tickets are now on sale and can be purchased via the link on the letter that was sent home to parents and carers on Thursday January 18th. We hope to see lots of you there!
