Exploring Medical History: Year 11 Students Immerse Themselves at the Old Operating Theatre and Science Museum in London

On Tuesday, 5th December some of our Year 11 students visited the Old Operating Theatre and Science Museum in London, to support their historical study of medical development. At the Old Operating they consolidate their understanding of surgery before anaesthetics and antiseptics. While at the Science Museum they got to explore many of the intentions and developments that they have studied in lessons, including equipment used for urine tasting and 1st editions of medical books produced in the Renaissance.
