Years 7 & 8 Drama – Stage Combat Workshops

On Tuesday 16th  July, 60 students took part in a ‘hand to hand’ combat workshop led by Jake Barton from Squire Stage Combat. Jake himself has been working as a stunt performer since 2019 and has appeared in multiple films, video games and TV dramas. Both workshops taught students how to safely slap, push, punch and pull hair just like they do on screen and on stage. All the students really enjoyed the sessions, we definitely have some budding young stunt performers in our midst!
